Call For Presentations

Unmanned Vehicle Systems Canada will be holding its internationally renowned Annual Conference this coming November (4-7 November 2008, Ottawa ON) to present Canadian and International innovation in the field of UVS technologies. The following is the Call for Presentations


SYMPOSIUM

Presentations are sought from Canada and abroad on all subject areas related to unmanned vehicle systems, including research and development, case studies and recent innovations.

Session topics for this year's conference are:

UVS in Law Enforcement
UVS Technical Interoperability Standards
Airspace Access (UAV Airworthiness)
UVS Modeling and Simulation
UVS Research and Development
UVS for Safety and Security
UVS Industrial Solutions
Surface UVS
Mini and Micro UVS
UAV Qualifications and Training
Showcase (other significant UVS related topics)

PRESENTATIONS & PUBLICATION

The language of the Conference is English. Presentations must be submitted in MS PowerPoint and will be allotted a total of 30 minutes for presentation, questions and discussion. Proceedings will be issued following the Conference in CD format or on the UVS Canada website.

SUBMISSIONS

Those wishing to present should submit a short abstract and presenter Bio to papers@uvscanada.org
Abstracts should not exceed 250 words in length.
Bio of presenter(s) maximum 200 words.
Authors will be notified of acceptance by August 01, 2008.

DATES

Initial abstracts: July 15, 2008
Final abstracts: September 15, 2008
